141 violations were documented by the Information Center last February in Taiz

The Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) announced that it had documented 141 cases of violations affecting civilians in Taiz Governorate during the month of February 2022, the most likely cause of these violations was the Houthi militia.
The center said in its monthly report entitled “Al-Anin Village.. Scorched Land” that its field team documented the killing of 9 civilians, including 3 women. The Houthi militia caused the death of 8 of them, including 3 women.
Where 3 civilians, including a woman, were killed by mortars and heavy artillery, one woman was killed by a sniper’s bullets, two civilians, one of whom was a woman, were killed by direct fire, and two civilians, one of whom was a woman, were also killed by landmines explosion, and one civilian was killed by direct fire from gunmen outside the framework of the state.
The field center team was able to monitor the injury of 44 civilians, including 6 women and 11 children. The Houthi militia caused the injury of 35 civilians, including 6 women and 11 children. 30 civilians, including 4 women and 7 children, were injured by various artillery shells, while 5 civilians, 2 women, and 3 children, were wounded by a militia sniper.
The field team documented the injury of 6 civilians, including a child, as a result of direct bullets fired by gunmen outside the framework of the state.
The center’s field team documented two cases of assault, one of which was carried out by the Houthi militia, another by armed men outside the framework of the state, and two cases of kidnapping committed by armed men outside the framework of the state, one of which was committed by members of the government army in the second case.
The team recorded the displacement of 45 families in early February, according to a statement by the International Organization for Migration. Center monitors stated that the Houthi militia displaced dozens of families from the residents of Al-Hasab village in the Moqbna district, forcing them to leave their homes and flee from them.
