The late course (Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Saqqaf)
The training course is for active workers in Yemeni and Arab civil society organizations / institutions and within an intensive program in “Institution Building” skills.
The course will take place during 5-10 September 2020.
It aims to: –
Raising the capabilities and skills of participants in institutional building, and re-developing the institutional work in civil society organizations and institutions in accordance with the human rights approach to bringing about development.
The course includes intensive workshops on:
– Structuring and organizing
– Strategic Planning
– Monitoring and evaluation
– Writing projects (funding proposals)
– The human rights approach to development
Registration for the session will open on Thursday, August 20, 2020, and the deadline for application is August 31, 2020.

Duration and timing of the course: 5 days (5-10) September 2020.
The session is held via visual communication technology, through a link sent to the participants.
A maximum of (20) participants / active workers and decision-makers in Arab governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions will be accepted, after filling out the following form:
Provided that the applicant meets the following conditions:
- Be an active worker in a civil society organization
Or in a public institution related to civil and human rights work.
- Commitment to training, attendance and practical requirements during the course.
The late Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Saqqaf is an academic, economist, journalist, and human rights activist
- Founder and Editor-in-Chief of “The Yemen Times”, the first English-language newspaper in Yemen.
- He is also a founding member of the HRITC and within the founding advisory body of the center.
