19 violations documented by the Information Center during last December in Taiz – December violations

The Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) announced that it documented 19 cases of violations during last December in Taiz Governorate, of which the Houthi militia committed 3 violations, members of the government army committed 4 violations, and unidentified armed men committed 12 violations.
The center said in its monthly report entitled “The Siege of Death in Taiz.”
The field team documented the killing of two civilians, one of whom was killed by direct bullets by a gunman affiliated with the Houthi militia, while the other was killed by bullets from a member of the government army.
The field team was able to monitor the injury of 8 civilians, including two women and three children. The Houthi militia caused two children to be injured by sniper bullets, while 6 civilians, including two women and a child, were injured by bullets belonging to unknown gunmen.
The Center’s field team documented an assassination attempt carried out by unknown gunmen. It also documented one case of kidnapping, carried out by members of the government army, and one case of attack on freedom of opinion and expression, also carried out by members of the government army.
Six cases of violations of private property were documented, as two houses and three vehicles were partially damaged by bullets from unknown gunmen, and a private vehicle was hijacked by members of the government army.
