HRITC demands the release of Al-Shaibani in Aden

The Human Rights Information and Training Center – HRITC called on the official authorities in the governorate of Aden to clarify what was published about the arrest of Abd al-Qadir Al-Shaibani, one of the most prominent leaders of Al-Hikma Charitable Society, who is seventy years old, and whose arrest was reported in Aden while he was traveling for treatment.
Close sources said that Al-Shaibani was taken by unknown parties in Aden from his sick chair prior to his arrival at Aden airport to leave for treatment in Cairo, in addition to that his accompanying son was attacked.
Until the moment no party has claimed responsibility nor the reasons for taking the man who suffers according to sources close to his family. Of several diseases that may pose a threat to his life.
HRITC called on the local authorities in Aden and the leadership of the legitimate government to clarify the situation and release him immediately.
