The Information Center calls on the authorities to stop the chaos in Taiz

The Human Rights Information and Training Center for – Hritc called on the Yemeni authorities to work quickly to stop the spread of chaos in the city of Taiz, which amounted to extrajudicial killings.
The center, a regional organization that holds consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, said, “Taiz suffers from declared chaos before the various security and military authorities, state leaders and parties, and that those elements who used various weapons are carrying out declared killings, as happened this week in clashes and attacks.” It is done openly among elements affiliated with the military and security services in the governorate, which exacerbated the state of terror among the citizens and placed the responsibility on the official institutions that did not work to control the matter and take serious steps towards crimes that fall under the list of crimes against humanity and expose the perpetrators and the responsible authorities in the state to accountability.
The statement of the Information and Rehabilitation Center for Human Rights stressed the need to work quickly to arrest outlaws, take legal measures and work to control weapons, which have become a daily threat to safe citizens. Those forces need to reconsider state institutions that are suffering from a clear collapse that will become more catastrophic with the various forces ignoring their role, especially with the exacerbation of the state of siege that Taiz has been experiencing for seven years and the spread of poverty and unemployment.
The information center said that the leadership of the state and the Yemeni government have the task of saving Taiz from a series of clear collapse towards chaos that threatens the lives of citizens.
