New Houthi massacre against the women’s prison in Taiz
The Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) said in a statement that the Houthi militia committed a real hideous massacre,
including what the word means today in Taiz, through intense bombing and a systematic attack that directly targeted the women’s prison in Taiz.
According to preliminary statistics, the bombing killed at least five women and a girl who was visiting her mother, who was hit by an artillery shell and tore her body to pieces.
Eight other women were wounded in the massacre, including three in a critical condition and a man.
The Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) team in Taiz confirmed that the bombing continues until the writing of this statement at 6 pm today, Sunday, April 5, noting that the targeting focused on civilians and intentionally causing damage to the defenseless population.
Hritc, a regional organization with consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, said that brutal bombing came and the world celebrated the fifth day of April as World Day of Conscience.
Where he said that repeated war crimes confirmed the inhumanity of the Houthi forces, which directly bombed the women’s prison.
On the day, we demand the release of all detainees and prisoners, especially with great fear of the emergence and spread of the Coruna virus.
HRITC appealed to the international community to review its conscience and humanity and not to stand idly by the militia’s intransigence and its continued bombardment and siege of civilians in Taiz governorate, which has long been unfair and highly tolerated by a militia that does not observe humanity or conscience and is not afraid of a decision or condemnation.
In addition to take all measures to stop this militia from attacking and killing civilians, to bring the perpetrators of these crimes to international courts, and to strive and end the war and release all detainees before invading the Corona disaster, which will inevitably affect the whole country and the region as a whole.
