58 violations documented by the Information Center last June in Taiz

The Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) announced that it had documented 58 cases of violations against civilians in Taiz governorate during the month of June 2022, the Houthi militia caused 22 cases, and armed men outside the framework of the state caused 29 other cases, while the government army caused 4 cases and unknown gunmen in two cases, which caused Tariq Saleh’s forces are in one case.
The center said in its monthly report entitled “Taiz: a truce for an ongoing war” that its field team documented the killing of 18 civilians, including 4 children and one woman. The Houthi militia caused the death of 9 of them, including 4 children and one woman.
Where the Houthis killed a woman with direct bullets, two children with an artillery shell, and one civilian was killed by a landmine explosion, while the Houthis executed 3 civilians from the marginalized category, and Houthi drone strikes killed two children.
Eight civilians were killed by direct fire from militants outside the framework of the state, and one civilian was killed by members of the government army, and another was killed by unidentified gunmen.
The field center team was able to monitor the injury of 24 civilians, the Houthi militia injured 8 civilians, including a child and a woman, and armed men outside the framework of the state injured 15 civilians, as Houthi snipers injured 4 civilians, including a woman, and Houthi mines injured 4 civilians, including a child.
