HRITC calls for an independent international investigation to find out about the Beirut events

Human Rights Information and Training Center (hritc) called for a speedy disclosure of facts about the events in Beirut and respect for human rights.
A statement issued by the Center confirmed today that what happened is a crime against humanity and a catastrophe that goes beyond the mere explosion of warehouses in Beirut Port to a comprehensive explosion of the conditions of Lebanon. Which will entail radical changes at the country and region levels and the cost will be high until peace returns to Lebanon, which requires strengthening the state of law Respect for institutions, the first of which is to strengthen the course of human rights and not to resort to force.

The Center called on the international community to carry out its responsibilities towards Lebanon and provide quick and effective help to get it out of its repression that would continue to reach a greater economic and social catastrophe. Human Rights Information and Training Center (hritc), a regional organization with consultative status with the United Nations, has formed a team of international experts to contribute by uncovering the facts and conducting an independent investigation. it will ensure that the truth of the explosions is known and come up with solutions to the causes of the existing tensions, whose continued repercussions further exacerbate the bad situation in the country.
In addition, the need to listen to the voice of the Lebanese street, which is still leading continuous popular revolutions for reform, change and peace.
