HRITC concludes a special course on institutional building for more than 20 activists in six countries

Today, the Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) concluded the work of the late Abdulaziz Al-Saqqaf course on institutional building during the period 5-9 September 2020.
21 participants from civil society organization actors from six different countries (Yemen, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Algeria, Chad) participated in the session. The training course, which was held through visual communication technology, included practical workshops with 9 workshops and practical trainings on: Organizing and strategic planning, problem analysis, writing projects, project components.
The trainer and human rights and development expert, Mahmoud Abdel Fattah, praised the participants ’interaction and commitment during the session, stressing the importance of the participants’ role in making any training a success, calling on the participants to drop the training gains in the reality of their institutions in which they work.
While Arafat Al-Rafid, Director of HRITC, pointed out the importance of reconsidering the institutional work within civil society organizations, and this session comes in this context, stressing the keenness of the center’s management to develop and network within community organizations because of its advantages for organizations and society in general.
The participants appreciated the work of the trainer and the management of the center, and reviewed the most prominent skills and knowledge gained from the training.
