HRITC launches a program to enhance the role of women in peacebuilding
HRITC is organizing the special training course “The Important Role of Women in Conflict Prevention and Peace Building: Security Council Resolution 1325”
This is in cooperation with the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC)
During the period
18/19 September 2020
The program will include training:
- The importance of International Resolution 1350
- By strengthening the role of women in building society
How to enhance the role of women in peace issues
The training will be conducted by:
Mr. Fadi Abi Allam – President of the Permanent Peace Movement in Lebanon
The training will be done using the virtual communication technique of the Zoom program
The session will give priority to advocates of women’s issues in the Arab region and workers in non-governmental organizations (women and men) who contribute directly to enhancing the effective role of women in building peace.
The deadline for registration is 9-16-2020 12 noon, Yemen time
