The Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) is organizing a seminar titled “The Role of Civil Society in Supporting Women to Face the Political and Humanitarian Challenges Related to the Conflict: Yemen as a Model” in partnership with Adalah for Human Rights and UN Women and in cooperation with the Group of Nine and the Japanese government.
The focus of the seminar will be a discussion of a policy paper that will be prepared by Dr. Adel Al-Sharjabi, which seeks to:
The role of women in facing humanitarian challenges in light of conflict.
– Narrating civil society to draw up possible policies to raise the level of women’s participation in the political process in light of the conflict.
Strengthening the role of women in contributing to peacemaking.
– How can civil society rise in enhancing the role of women in societal contribution in Yemen in light of conflict and contribute to removing women from the circle of marginalization.
