The Information Center mourns the passing of Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Maqaleh
The Human Rights Information and Training Center (Hritc) mourns the passing of Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Maqaleh, who, with his passing, loses Yemen and the cultural movement in the Arab world, one of the most prominent beacons of giving in it.
We also lost, in the human rights movement in general, an enlightening pioneer who constituted a permanent reference for us and a real support in all the stations of giving.
His departure constituted an extraordinary loss for the family of the Human Rights Information and Training Center Hritc, who was the late great father and sponsor of it since the moment the center was launched in 1995, dr. Abdel-Aziz Al-Maqaleh, Chairman of the Advisory Board throughout this period.
in addition, in the first moments of work, he always remained a real supporter, and as usual in asceticism, he continued to give without showing it, and to support everything possible with generosity and altruism.
He has preserved the purity of the soul, the clarity of the mind, the sincerity of feelings, and the strength of the stance on rights and freedoms, this is consistent with his personality as a distinguished poet and writer.
The Human Rights Information and Training Center Hritc, while mourning the passing of one of its most prominent founders, affirms that this giving will remain immortal in all the work steps of the Center’s family, inspired by the beautiful spirit of love that Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Maqaleh used to spread and gather everyone around.
May God have mercy on the deceased, the great, and we ask him, the Almighty, to cover him with the vastness of his mercy, dwell him in his spacious gardens, and inspire his family, relatives, and lovers patience and solace.
