The Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) announced that it documented 23 cases of violations last March in Taiz Governorate, of which the Houthi militia committed 19 violations, 2 of which were committed by members of the government army, and two other violations committed by armed men outside the framework of the state.
The center said in its monthly report entitled “The Houthis and the Continuation of Killing in Taiz” that its field team documented the killing of one civilian by a sniper of the Houthi militia.
The field center team was able to monitor the injury of 11 civilians, including two children. The Houthi militia caused the injury of 3 civilians, including a child, with mortar shells, and two civilians with bullets from a Houthi militia sniper, and 6 civilians were injured, including a child, with a land mine planted by the Houthis.
The Center’s field team documented one mass assassination attempt carried out by armed men outside the framework of the state, and it also documented one kidnapping case carried out by individuals in the government army.
9 cases of property violations were documented, including one general case committed by armed men outside the framework of the state, and 8 private cases, 7 of which were committed by the Houthi militia, and the government army committed only one case.
