The state and civil society in Yemen
Introduction by Mr. Ezzadin Saeed Al-Asbahi
President of Human Rights Information and Training Center – HRITC
This book
This book comes to provide the Arab library with a real addition in an important field, as the studies that dealt with civil society in the Arab world are still limited, as far as Yemen is very limited, therefore this study provides a very important addition as it dealt with civil society as a modern concept of political and social thought It also deals with the democratic transformations that endowed the Arab society and its impact on civil society. The Yemeni society is considered the most affected by the democratic transformations that have been linked to a qualitative change in the nature of the Yemeni political system represented by the purification of the Shatri state and its accompanying approach from a non-democratic approach.
Human Rights Information and Training Center – HRITC is pleased to present this book, which will fill a vast void in the Arab Library on civil society in Yemen.
Especially since the author is one of the most prominent academic names in Yemen that specialized in Yemeni civil society studies, where Dr. Fouad Abdul Jalil Al-Salahi was known as a distinguished serious researcher with his permanent activity and his continuous presence. He presented his vision in the problems and obstacles of civil society in Yemen through many studies and research published in many newspapers and magazines.
Finally, this book is a serious addition .. It deserves to be read with real interest.
