Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) described the execution by Al-Qaeda forces in Al-Bayda governorate, central Yemen, of the doctor Mutahar Muhammad Al-Yousfi, who was executed by Al-Qaeda organization in Al-Soumaa district in Al-Bayda governorate last Friday, as a crime against humanity.
Where the extremist organization tortured the dentist who had been working in the area for ten years and crucified him in front of passers-by.
The organization, which controls a part of the governorate, which is witnessing ongoing battles between the resistance and the legitimate government forces on the one hand, and the Houthi militia, which has controlled Sana’a since 2014, said the organization, and extremists affiliated with ISIS are expanding in areas limited to conflict areas such as parts of Al-Bayda and Abyan, and imposes its control over a part From these remote provinces.
Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC), a regional organization that has a consultative status at the United Nations, confirmed in a statement today that terrorist organizations, including Al-Qaeda, despite their recent decline in limited areas in Yemen, are still finding spaces for incursions and striking civilians and committing multiple crimes, including execution outside the scope of Eliminate as with the doctor a tangerine disinfectant.
HRITC said that concern is increasing from the terror of these organizations with the continuation of the war in Yemen and the absence of accountability and even the arrival of the commander to the intersection of interests with the warlords.
Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) called on the Yemeni government and the Arab coalition in support of legitimacy in Yemen for the necessity of serious and continuous work to stop the crimes of terrorist organizations, especially al-Qaeda, in the places they control or in those where influence can be extended.
HRITC said that the Houthi militia is shirking responsibility, while clear evidence indicates that its interests are intertwined with these terrorist organizations and coincide with the goals that unite them by striking any presence of Yemeni state institutions.
The facts on the ground indicate that the Houthi forces do not have any confrontations with organizations such as Al Qaeda, but rather facilitate the passage of their fighters, share spoils, seize state resources, and harm people’s interests.
HRITC emphasized that the absence of the Yemeni state and the absence of clear plans that guarantee the survival and continuity of the influence of the legitimate state institutions supported by the Arab coalition and international bodies, a deficiency that reinforces security chaos and creates a vacuum that is filled by terrorist forces that commit crimes against humanity on a continuous and systematic basis.
It is also an unacceptable deficiency borne by the state, its agencies, and the international community that supports it, and which requires international responsibility to be supportive of security and peace.
