53 violations documented by the Information Center during last February in Taiz

The Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) announced that it has documented 53 cases of violations that affected civilians in Taiz Governorate during the month of February, the majority of which were committed by the Houthi militia directly and deliberately, women and children the top spot in terms of the victims who were killed by the Houthi militia.
The centre said in its monthly report that its field team was able to document the killing of nine civilians, including Four children. Houthi militias killed Five civilians, Four of them children. where one child was killed by the shrapnel of shells, also two other children were killed by a sniper of the Houthi militia, while a child was killed by direct bullets and one civilian in the explosion of a landmine planted by the Houthi militia.
One civilian was killed by direct bullets of militants outside the framework of the state, and Tree civilians were killed by direct bullets of members of the government army.
The field centre team was able to monitor the injury of 17 civilians, including four children and three women, Houthi militia injured 14 of them, including Four children and two women, Ten civilians, including three children and a woman, were injured by artillery shells of the militia, also one civilian was wounded by the explosion of landmines planted by the militia and injured Two civilians, including a woman shot by a Houthi sniper and one child, shot by Houthi gunmen.
Furthermore, three civilians, including a woman, were wounded by gunmen directly outside the borders of the country.
The field team documented a case of kidnapping and enforced disappearance carried out by the Houthi Militia and two cases of assault, one of which was committed by armed men outside the framework of the state, while an official in the local authority committed another case.
The Center also documented the Houthi militia forcibly displacing ten civilians, including a woman, from their farms and homes in the Al-Hayma Al-Olaya area in Al-Ta’iziyah District.
The field team monitored 14 cases of violation of public and private property, one of which was general, when members of the army stormed the Al-Thawra Hospital building.
Thirteen cases of violation of private property were recorded, where one house was completely damaged, three houses and four vehicles as a result of the bombing by the Houthi militia, and a private vehicle was destroyed by the explosion of a mine planted by the Houthi militia, and an oil station and a private factory were burned due to the Houthi bombing, and Houthi gunmen looted an amount 150,000 Saudi riyals at one of their checkpoints from a civilian passing through.
