The Human Rights Information and Training Center HRITC announced that it had documented 52 cases of violations last April, of which the Houthi militia committed 43 violations, 5 cases were committed by unidentified gunmen, and 4 cases were committed by a member of the government army.
The center said in its monthly report entitled “Taiz… No Voice Louder than Cannons” that its field team documented the killing of 8 civilians, including a woman and a child, of whom the Houthi militia killed 5 civilians, as a civilian was killed by a Houthi sniper, and 3 civilians, including a woman and a child, were killed by Houthi shelling. And a detainee was liquidated in one of its prisons.
Two civilians were also killed by direct gunfire from a member of the government army, and another civilian was killed by unknown gunmen.
The field center team was able to monitor the injury of 14 civilians, 11 of whom were injured by the Houthi militia, two of whom were wounded by snipers, and 9 civilians were injured by shrapnel from mortar shells fired by the Houthi militia, while two civilians were injured by direct gunfire from outside the state, and one civilian was injured by a grenade thrown by gunmen.
