The Information and Rehabilitation Center for Human Rights (HRITC) followed up on the FIDH’s position on the Center and its reports.
the Center expresses its appreciation to all the friendly member organizations of the Federation (an optional NGO gathering) with which the Center has worked for many years and will of course work with it as the various activities are at various levels.
But the Center for Information and Rehabilitation of Human Rights wanted to emphasize it after a number of human Rights learners and attempted to be injured, in a way that was stated in some, and showed because of the detail of the Information Center.
The Center’s firm position on the human rights situation in Yemen, where the position against all human rights violators, remains clear and principled.
The Center seriously stood against the coup against state institutions in Sana’a and the confiscation of freedoms on September 21, 2014, and paid the price for the confiscation of its headquarters and stormed and the confiscation of its basic library and documents of the Center and work for more than twenty years.
All its employees were subjected to prosecution and liquidation attempts.
During its bombing in 2015 and 2016, his headquarters in Taiz did not escape serious damage and also lost its headquarters in Aden in the 2015 war.
However, the Center remained the most regular institution in issuing monthly and periodic reports.
The Center’s continuous reports have been confined to Taiz city for the past three years.
The focus of the work of the Center in this context of a clear approach is the inability to work in the areas of control of the Houthis to expose our workers to real danger, and secondly the possibility of working in Taiz with the presence of the center team in the province, in addition to the importance of focusing on the most dangerous area suffering from systematic violations in Yemen While we appreciate all the regions suffering from various violations, but the capacity of the Center during the past three years could not be able to work in the field in a wider geographical area in Yemen, respecting strict professional standards and recognizing the reality of the challenges.
In this context, the Center has remained an effective institution at the local and regional levels and has not declined its activity in international forums either as an advisory institution to the United Nations Economic and Social Council or as a member of several institutions and forums.
Respecting all human rights principles
With working strictly and professionally.
The most important point made by the Center in terms of its approach to the priorities of the current violations is our vision that we believe that the coup of the Houthi group and its militias on the legitimate institutions was the biggest basis for all deterioration of the human rights situation, including various regional interventions, and from a clear reading of the Center is that the armed coup In all legal standards a crime that cannot be condoned for any political calculations)
Yemen was not just a coup against a legitimate government, but a coup against a full popular consensus, which was a coup against the outcome of the comprehensive national dialogue, which served as a reference for all Yemenis to get out of the political crisis.
In this regard, the Center’s position in this regard was consistent with its belief in human rights principles
The fact that the rejection of violence and armed coups and the rejection of hate speech and the policy of fragmentation of society are all consistent principles, adhering to it necessary to get out of the current impasse Yemen.
The Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC), as it was 24 years ago, will remain an institution that works to promote the principles of human rights and defend humanitarian issues in a serious, professional and responsible manner.
Appreciative and thankful to all those who have published and interacted with the news of the Center and its activity as a confirmation of the status and confidence of the Center, no matter how the news began to address differently.
