148 violations documented by HRITC last November in Taiz

The Human Rights Information and Training Center – HRITC announced that it had documented 148 cases of violation of civilians in Taiz Governorate during the month of November.
The center said in its monthly report entitled “Taiz… the trio of bombing, chaos and hunger” that its field team was able to document the killing of 17 civilians, including 7 children, the Houthi militia killed 10 of them, including 5 children, where 7 civilians were killed, including 3 children, by various shells, and civilians were killed. Two of them, including a child, were shot by a sniper belonging to the Houthi militia, while a child was killed by the explosion of a landmine planted by the Houthi militia.
5 civilians were killed by direct bullets by militants outside the state, including a child, and one child was killed by direct bullets by multiple factions in the government army, and one civilian was killed by unidentified gunmen.
The field center team was able to monitor the injury of 82 civilians, including 28 children and 10 women, the Houthi militia injured 53 of them, including 20 children and 8 women, as 46 civilians, including 8 women and 17 children, were injured by artillery shells of the militia, and 3 other civilians, including two children, were injured by the explosion of mines A ground planted by the militia, and 3 civilians, including a child, were wounded by a Houthi sniper and another civilian by direct bullets by a Houthi gunman.
Nineteen civilians were also wounded by direct bullets of armed men outside the state, including one woman and eight children, and one civilian was wounded by retrial bullets and another by stabbing with a white weapon by unknown gunmen.
Six civilians, including a woman, were wounded by direct bullets, and other civilians were wounded in artillery shelling by individuals affiliated with multiple factions in the government army.
The team documented 5 cases of kidnapping and enforced disappearance, one of which was committed by the Houthi militia, and armed members of the army committed another, and armed men outside the state’s borders committed two of them, while unknown persons committed one case as well.
The team also monitored the occurrence of 4 cases of violations of freedom of opinion and expression, two of which were committed by armed men outside the framework of the state and two by unknown gunmen.
The field team of the HRITC documented 3 cases of assault, two of which were committed by armed men outside the framework of the state, and one case committed by members of the government army.
The field team monitored 37 cases of violation of public and private property, including 3 cases of public property caused by the Houthi militia, including the bombing of a mosque that includes a Quran memorization school, and the vandalism of the Internet cable and communication tower.
Furthermore, 34 cases of violation of private property were recorded, as 3 houses were completely damaged, 9 houses were partially damaged, a house was partially destroyed, and 8 private vehicles were destroyed as a result of the bombing by the Houthi militia, and the militia blew up 3 civilian homes.
Unidentified gunmen set fire to 8 houses of the displaced, with reflux bullets, while non-state militants burned a private vehicle.
The report focused on listing the residential areas and neighborhoods that were heavily bombed by the coup militia with various medium and heavy weapons in five districts, which are Cairo, Sala, Al-Ta’iziyah, Al-Muzaffar and Jabal Habashi, from the locations of their centers in Tabat Al-Sofitel, Al-Harir, and 50 and 60 streets north of the city.
As a result of that bombing, the Houthi militia committed 3 bloody massacres, which resulted in the killing of 3 children and the wounding of 19 civilians, including 3 women and 5 children. In addition, armed men outside the state committed a fourth massacre, which resulted in the killing of a child and wounding 8 others.
The center’s field team monitored 4 cases of assassination of soldiers in the government army who was assassinated by militants outside the state, in addition to the injury of another and the kidnapping of the Brigadier General, Commander of the Roses, commander of the Third Brigade from the center of Al-Turbah.
The report dealt with the economic collapse, the deterioration of the currency and the lack of salaries, as the living situation witnessed a frightening deterioration with the lack of purchasing power to the point of the disappearance of bread in the markets and the closure of bread-making ovens due to the deterioration of the currency, high prices and lack of government control.
