73 violations documented by the Information Center last September in Taiz

The Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) announced that it had documented 73 cases of violations against civilians in Taiz Governorate during the month of September.
In its monthly report, the center said that its field team was able to document the killing of 9 civilians, including a woman, as one civilian was killed by direct fire from the Houthi militia, and two civilians were killed by direct fire from militants outside the framework of the state, and one civilian was killed by direct bullets by individuals affiliated with the government army.
One civilian was shot dead during the security forces’ clashes with militants outside the framework of the state, and another civilian was killed by direct bullets by the joint forces of Tariq Saleh, which does not recognize the legitimate government, and two civilians, including a woman, were killed by unidentified gunmen, while one civilian was killed by the explosion of a grenade thrown by an unknown gunman. .
The field center team was able to monitor the injury of 24 civilians, including two women and 7 children, 11 civilians, including two women and 6 children, were injured by the Houthi militia. And two civilians were injured by the explosion of a landmine planted by the Houthi militia.
Furthermore, 9 civilians, including a child, were wounded by direct bullets by members of the government army, and one civilian was wounded by direct bullets by an unknown gunman, and another was wounded by the explosion of a hand grenade thrown by an unknown gunman.
The forces affiliated with Major General Haitham Qassem, who do not recognize the legitimate government, caused the injury of one civilian, who was run over by a military crew and another by direct bullets.
The field team documented two cases of kidnapping and enforced disappearance, one of which was committed by armed men outside the framework of the state, and members of the government army committed the other. The field team also documented 4 cases of arrests of civilians, three of which were committed by the government army, and one of them by the joint forces of Tariq Saleh.

A vehicle, money, and a personal weapon were looted by gunmen outside the framework of the state, and the property of a house was stormed and looted by members of the government army, and a pharmacy was partially damaged by the explosion of a bomb thrown by an unknown gunman.
The report dealt with three important aspects of the events that affected Taiz last September, the most important of which is the continuation of the intensive and systematic bombing by the Houthi militia, which targeted residential neighborhoods crowded with civilians, especially women and children, in addition to terrorist acts in raiding homes and kidnapping civilians, especially from the women’s military units called Zainabiyat. The women who raided the homes of women in the village of Rahban in Dimna Khadir horribly.
The report touched on the increasing protests of citizens due to the high cost of living, the rise in prices and the deterioration of the local currency, and the security forces confronting those protests with excessive force and assaulting the demonstrators, which resulted in the fall of one wounded and the arrest of many demonstrators.
The report pointed out that the health situation has seriously deteriorated in the governorate and the spread of deadly epidemics, the most important of which are the Corona pandemic, dengue fever, and malaria, which have infected thousands of citizens since the beginning of this year.
