The Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) announced that it had documented 21 cases of violations against civilians in Taiz Governorate during the month of December 2022. which the Houthi militia caused 8 violations. Another civilian was killed by direct gunfire from outside the state, while unidentified gunmen killed a woman with return fire.
The field center team was able to monitor the injury of 8 civilians, including two children. The Houthi militia caused the injury of 5 of them by snipers, including two children, while 3 others were wounded by direct fire from gunmen outside the framework of the state.
The center’s field team documented two cases of arrest committed by members of the government army and one case of kidnapping committed by gunmen outside the framework of the state, and a case of violation of freedom of opinion and expression committed by members of the security forces was also documented.
