Hritc Human Rights Information and Training Center calls on the international community to take immediate action to stop the crimes of genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.
The Center said in a statement today that Gaza is being subjected, for the fourth day, to a massive aggression operation, which constitutes war crimes, as the Israeli air strikes focus on crowded residential neighborhoods, including mosques, health centers, and schools.
The numbers show an increase in the number of casualties among civilians, including children and women.
Hritc appealed to all civil society forces and human rights organizations to quickly move and mobilize public opinion in various countries of the world to work to stop this aggression.
The Human Rights Information and Training Center called on the international community, especially the Security Council, to work to stop the crimes and look at the issue with fairness and justice, far from political polarization and the path of double standards. It is shameful that the apartheid regime practiced by Israel continues and even enjoys the support and sponsorship of various countries around the world. In this century known as the century of human rights.

Gaza blockade
In fact, Israel began imposing a siege on the Gaza Strip after the Hamas movement won the legislative elections in January 2006. It then declared the Gaza Strip a “hostile entity” and imposed additional sanctions that directly affected the basic rights of the population. This included imposing severe restrictions on The entry of fuel and goods and the movement of people to and from the Gaza Strip. Over the years, the Israeli authorities have worked to establish a policy of isolating the Gaza Strip, by separating it from the Palestinian territories in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, in addition to controlling the quantity and quality of goods and materials entering the Gaza Strip and banning hundreds of them, which caused a comprehensive economic stagnation in the Strip. And a sharp rise in poverty and unemployment rates. Moreover, the Israeli blockade has particularly affected the health sector in Gaza, as many basic medical items and supplies are not available, and many patients are forced to wait months for surgical operations. During the years of the siege, Israel launched four devastating military attacks on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of thousands of civilians, the destruction of tens of thousands of homes and civilian facilities, and causing widespread destruction of infrastructure facilities.
Under international law, the Gaza Strip remains under Israeli occupation despite the unilateral withdrawal from the Strip in 2005, with Israel retaining full control over the Strip’s land, sea and air accesses. Likewise, it controls Gaza’s population registry, communications networks, and many other aspects of daily life and infrastructure. Instead of fulfilling its duty to protect the civilian population, Israel imposed an unprecedented form of collective punishment on the population of the Gaza Strip, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
Recently, Israel announced a complete siege of the Gaza Strip in all aspects, gas, electricity, water, humanitarian aid, and corridors, and bombed more than one raid on the Egyptian Rafah crossing during an attempt to pass Egyptian aid into the Gaza Strip.
