On the International Day of Solidarity with Children Victims of Aggression, HRITC stresses the need to save millions of children victims of conflict in the Arab region

Taiz /News

On the International Day of the Victims of Aggression among the innocent children, which occurred on 4 June the occasions passed with a deadly silence for the children of the world who suffer from violence, foremost among them are the children of Yemen, who are classified as children living in the worst crises in the world.

Human Rights Information and Training Center (Hritc) said in a statement on this anniversary that it is painful for this international day to pass on the children of our Arab region, especially our countries that are experiencing conflict in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Palestine and Libya without highlighting the suffering of children in these countries that destroyed the conflicts Armed millions of youngsters present and strengthened march towards the destruction of their future.

Children are exposed to all kinds of violence and aggression, from direct killing and handicapping, to all kinds of physical and psychological attacks, and to throw them into the armed conflict.

In Yemen, the militias formed many of their armed forces among children and made the Houthi forces the core of their forces that aim them at the crematoria of the young people who are forced to enlist in the construction of a murderer based on hate speech and social disruption.

HRITC statement, which is a regional organization, holds the consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council,

((It is a sad fact that in situations where armed conflict erupts, it is the most vulnerable member of society – that is, children, hardest hit by the consequences of war. The six most common violations are the recruitment and use of children in war, murder, sexual violence, kidnapping, attacks on schools and hospitals, and denial of access Humanitarian aid.))

Many children were killed by the war as a result of blatant attacks. Children were killed while playing outdoors with their friends, while they were going to or from school, or while they were safely in their homes with their families.

The number of violations suffered by children increases with the continuation of wars. In Yemen alone, the war resulted in the death and injury of more than seventy thousand, including nearly ten thousand children.

In the statement, Human Rights Information and Training Center (Hritc) said that the facts appear to be much more than the various reports mention that due to the difficulty of gathering information and refuting them accurately, many horrific details are absent.

As the information about the various types of physical and psychological violence, infecting children is far from being closely monitored.

In addition, the trauma of war still haunts the young, which will result in a chain of suffering that harms the future of an entire generation.

In his statement, Human Rights Information and Training Center (Hritc) called for stopping aggression against children, stopping all kinds of violations, and holding perpetrators accountable to children for the killing, attack, recruitment, and systematic violence. He said that the international community puts its reputation at stake, a difficult test with the aggravation of crises that ravage the region and affect innocent children. They are a hope for a future that looks thick with pain.
